The moment you decided you wanted me?
When you started talking to me
When you you wrote me every day from jail
When I finally saw you
The real you that hid for so long
Do you remember?
The moment we fell in love?
When we became each others everything
When you finally said you loved me
When we knew this, was it
Do you remember?
The moment you asked me to marry you?
The moment we thought we’d be together the rest of our lives
When you loved me
When we were happy
Do you remember?
The moment we threw it all away?
The moment we decided to lie to one another
When we cheated
When we broke one another
Do you remember?
The moment we started to hate one another?
When the betrayal we inflicted on one another
Become more than we could bear
When there was now more hate than love
More wanting to get even
Then repair
Do you remember?
Are last moments together
After the hatred after the lies
After all the cheating and breaking one another
It was me in your arms
You smiling at me
You laughing
Us happy
Me telling you some past painful truths
Us getting closure
You accepting the most painful lie and still loving me
Still being able to feel the love we have for one anot, er knowing all we had done to one another was never worth the pain we caused one another
Our last moment together was good
