I’ve Been Struggling In The Hidden Shadows

I’ve been struggling a lot lately
In the hidden shadows
Struggling with the simplest of things
Such as taking my pants off
I have to stop several times in between
To just sit and be in the pain
The pain is so deep
So intense I can feel it to my bone
Every nerve
Every inch of my skin in severe pain
To finally getting them off and lay down
Were I break for a moment
The tears start to flood, and I scream as loud as I can
In my mind, as I can not break aloud
The pain is becoming my daily life
This pain that hurts with every movement
The feeling as if your skin is on fire
The stabbing knife pains threw out
Living in this body is so dam painful
As I wipe my tears before they can fall
Pull myself into bed
To look like the “I’m ok” I say I am
