This post was particularly interesting to me, since I struggle with the stigma of having a mental illness. People mostly are misinformed, but some are just frightened of you, because they wonder if you are going to go postal on them or something. So you just keep quiet about your problem, and push forward on your own. Drug advertisements on television only add to the problem, when after taking the magic medicine for depression, the person is singing and dancing with joy. The holistic approach in this post is most welcome! I am going to spend most of the afternoon in our special place. I need the peace that it brings. Perhaps we will see our little chipmunk.🐿. I will bring some green tea for us to share. How are you doing today, my friend? 🤗
Haha, yes, so very true. Agree with you on those happy advertising. Was in our place most yesterday until the pain and tiredness took over me, and I took a much needed nap. Only woke up because of my starving tummy. As of now I’m OK just laying in bed watching TV. We’re all spend most of my day lol how are you doing this weekend. Any let up with the shaking and bad thoughts.
I am OK too. Spent the afternoon crocheting and half-watching some cooking shows on TV. I am shaking less ( thank goodness ! ) and the intrusive thoughts are behaving themselves. The pain is always a constant, but when other symptoms are lesser I can usually manage to keep myself afloat. In our place the redbud trees are blooming now. The beautiful red-purple blossoms paired with the backdrop of new green leaves is so lovely. So glad to have you there, my friend! 🤗🤗
My daughter wants to learn how to crochet me as well what is the easiest way to get started lol
As a little girl, my mother taught me to crochet. I would think that it might be best to look on Utube so that you can watch somebody teaching how to do it. I think that would better than trying to learn from a book alone. Then again maybe having instructions in a book and a video from Utube also might be easiest. Crocheting is so much fun. I think that your little girl is at the right age to learn. I find it the repetitive motion and the feeling of the yarn slipping through your fingers to be very soothing. Hope that helps you get started! Here is a virtual hug from me 🤗 and one for your little girl 🤗
