I loved you
Little did I know, then
You would be the only one I would
We started good
Slightly broken but molding together as one
You had scars, I could tell
I had never had nothing like you
We fell fast
I gave you all of me
Every ounce of my being was yours
We were obsessed with each other
It wasn’t easy
We fought our whole relationship to be together
Against anyone who dared keep us apart
I think that’s why we broke in the end
Always fighting tends to leave us tired, and in the end, we let them win
We destroyed our love in the end
We broke each other
We inflicted so much intentional pain on one another
We betrayed one another beyond repair
Our love didn’t save us in the end
All our fighting didn’t matter in the end
If only we knew we wouldn’t win in the end
That love would turn into us destroying one another
If only we knew the payback was never worth us
If only we knew we would be the end of us

How bittersweet this poem is, Lynn. It really touched my heart. I wept a bit watching you speak it. How are you doing, my friend? Any progress in getting your next appointment scheduled? Lol
Thank you, my dear Susan, I called them today and left a message. She then called and said the place that is going to scedule the appointment scheduler is out until Monday. So she has to wait for her to call her back next week to give her the code to schedule the appointment. She said this is the only place she could find for me to go take it. So frustrating 😫
Frustrating, indeed! 😫. I just do hope that they call you back! Lol
Same friend same
I can easily relate to this poem!
